- Your journey begins early with a 4:00 AM pickup from your hotel by bus, heading to the airport for your flight to Luxor.
- Upon arrival at around 08:00 AM, you'll meet your Egyptologist guide who will accompany you throughout the day's activities.
- Start with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, the famous City of the Dead, where the pharaohs were buried for more than five centuries. This is the grandest cemetery in the world. In 1922, explorer Howard Carter found the buried entrance to the tomb of Tutankhamun, whose treasures and secrets still amaze scientists and archaeologists. You'll spend approximately two hours exploring the ancient tombs of Egyptian pharaohs.
- Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, dedicated to one of Egypt's most powerful rulers, for about an hour. This luxurious architectural complex is located at the foot of the rocks of Deir El-Bahri and is known for its unique structure and location, reflecting the extraordinary story of a female pharaoh in ancient Egypt. Queen Hatshepsut, the wife of Pharaoh Thutmose II, took the throne from the rightful successor, Thutmose III, after his death.
- Make a brief stop at the Colossi of Memnon, spending around 15 minutes at this site featuring two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These statues, 18 meters high and weighing over 700 tons each, received the name Memnon by mistake when the Greeks saw in them the image of their Trojan hero - Memnon. However, the name was kept and left unchanged.
- Explore a local exhibition of stone products for about 20 minutes, witnessing the fine craftsmanship of Luxor's artisans.
- Optionally, enjoy a 25-minute Nile cruise, offering a unique perspective of the river (note that this activity is not included in the price and can be paid for separately).
- Following the cruise, have lunch at a local restaurant; please note that drinks are not included and are available for purchase.
- Continue your exploration at Karnak Temple, the largest surviving temple complex, with a two-hour guided tour. The dimensions are surprising - 1.5 km by 700 m. This is not just a temple but a union of buildings that resembles a whole city. It is the second most popular place in Egypt after the pyramids.
- Conclude your day with a 30-minute visit to the Papyrus Institute, where you can see how this ancient paper was made.
- The tour will wrap up around 16:00, followed by a transfer to the airport for your return flight to Sharm El Sheikh, expected to arrive around 20:00.
