- Our tour guide will pick you up at the hotel gate by bus around 4:00 AM.
- First stop: Karnak Temple - a unique temple, the largest ancient religious building in the world. Unlike many Egyptian temples, the Temple of Karnak was built by more than one pharaoh and even more than one era. Construction began in the 16th century BC and continued for over 1300 years. About 30 pharaohs contributed to the creation by adding temples, pylons, chapels, and obelisks dedicated to the gods of Thebes. The Karnak temple consists of three buildings, several smaller temples located in the main area, and several temples outside its walls. In the large courtyard of the Karnak Museum, there is a sacred lake, on the shore of which a wish-fulfilling scarab beetle sits on a marble column.
- Luxor Temple is located on the right bank of the Nile, in the City of the Living. It is directly connected with the Karnak temple complex. In ancient times, these two sights were connected by an alley of 365 sphinxes. The entire alley has not reached our days, but it is gradually being restored.
- After that, you will have a delicious lunch at the restaurant (beverages not included in the price).
- After lunch, you will enjoy a Nile Cruise with a visit to Banana Island (optional for an extra charge).
- Make a brief stop at the Colossi of Memnon, spending around 15 minutes at this site featuring two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These statues, 18 meters high and weighing over 700 tons each, received the name Memnon by mistake when the Greeks saw in them the image of their Trojan hero - Memnon. However, the name was kept and left unchanged.
- Your final stop will be the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a luxurious architectural complex dedicated to one of the greatest women in world history. Queen Hatshepsut, the wife of Pharaoh Thutmose II, took the throne from the rightful successor, Thutmose III, after his death. The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut is carved into the rock, featuring three terraces located one above the other, each containing open palaces, covered rooms with pilasters, and sanctuaries hidden in the depths of the mountain.
- Dendera is a small city on the west bank of the Nile and the legendary place where the temple of the Goddess of Love - Hathor is located. The keepers of the hearth came to the temple - the main attraction of Dendera, to ask for help if there were no children in the family, or to find female happiness.
- The tour will end at 16:00.
- Return trip to Hurghada. You will return to the hotel around 22:00.
