Program
Program
- Our transfer service will pick you up at the hotel gate around 4:00 AM.
- Upon arrival, our first stop will be Karnak Temple. Karnak Temple, the largest ancient religious structure in the world, was built over multiple dynasties by various pharaohs. The vast complex includes three main buildings, smaller temples, and a sacred lake with a wish-granting scarab, making it Egypt's second most popular site after the pyramids. (Enhance your experience in Cairo with a private car and a guide in your chosen language, ensuring a comfortable and immersive journey. This service is available for an additional fee.)
- Next, you will visit Luxor Temple, which is intricately connected to the Karnak temple complex. In ancient times, these two magnificent sites were linked by an alley of 365 sphinxes, an awe-inspiring sight that is gradually being restored today. Luxor Temple was a significant religious center, dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship, and was the site of the annual Opet Festival.
- Lunch at the restaurant (drinks are not included in the price).
- Following lunch, you will have the option to embark on a Nile Cruise with a visit to Banana Island for an additional fee (optional). This scenic cruise offers a tranquil view of the Nile and a chance to explore the lush Banana Island.
- Next, you will make a brief 15-minute stop at the Colossi of Memnon, featuring two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. The statues received the name of Memnon by mistake, as the Greeks saw in them the image of their Trojan hero, Memnon. Despite the misnomer, the name has remained unchanged.
- You will also have the opportunity to explore the Valley of the Queens, home to up to 70 tombs of pharaohs' wives and children, including the richly decorated tomb of Nefertari, wife of Ramses II, adorned with exquisite frescoes.
- Your final stop is the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a stunning complex carved into the rock. Dedicated to one of history's greatest women, it features three terraces with open palaces, covered rooms, and hidden sanctuaries.
- Conclude your trip with a return journey to Hurghada, arriving back at your hotel around 10:00 PM.
